Milestones for the future
- With MAN Ferrostaal acting as a general contractor, a biodiesel plant is being set up in Poland with an annual output of 100,000 tons. Experts today are assuming that by the year 2020 at least 15 percent of fossil fuels will have been replaced by regenerative raw materials.

- And it is a giant: the compressor's main rotor weighs 4.6 tons, the secondary rotor 4 tons. The world's biggest screw compressor is going to be used at a factory in Dushanzi in the northwest of China.

TU Munich and MAN go into partnership
- MAN Aktiengesellschaft [MAN Inc.] and the Technical University of Munich have formed the basis for a close cooperative partnership extending over many years. This makes the Technical University the first institute of higher education to become an official partner of the MAN company.
