Economy
Economic profitability is the fundamental prerequisite for sustainable entrepreneurial action. Part of MAN's self-perception is to recognize future developments and derive a profitable corporate strategy from them in order to offer our stakeholders lasting added value. We are obligated to ensure responsible company management and fair competition and want to convince customers with quality and first-class products. Violations of the law or of compliance regulations are not tolerated.
Ecology
Environmental protection and preservation of natural resources form the foundation for successful, long-term financial management. As a technology leader, MAN makes a positive contribution to society with its environmentally and climate-friendly products and production processes. MAN's focus on sustainable transportation and energy solutions that unite ecological and economic requirements is the key to its successful product policies.
Employees
In regard to its employees, MAN relies on responsible HR policies that recognize and support the potential in each individual. Employee-elected representation, apprenticeship, further education and training, stable retirement plans and profit-sharing are examples of instruments that MAN has successfully used for quite some time and that it constantly develops. Convincing answers to new issues such as diversity management or juggling a career and family offer new opportunities to win top new employees and ensure their loyalty to the company.
Society
MAN is especially committed to training young people. Through our partner universities, TU Munich and TU Dortmund, we improve the interface between science and business. MAN works with both universities to offer lecture series in which high-ranking executives from renowned companies convey their knowledge to students.
In addition, MAN sponsors students with scholarships that ease their financial burdens and enable them to better concentrate on their studies. Scholarship-holders are also invited to MAN events in order to help them work towards starting their career on the right foot while MAN innovation projects see students learn to work independently on practical problems in small groups.
